Why own when you can share
Rated this place:
I pretty much assumed that as long as I lived in Toronto, I would never actually own a car. The costs of insurance, parking and maintenance seem overwhelming considering how infrequently I'd use it. However, those times when you actually can't do something on the TTC or on a bicycle, having access to a vehicle at a reasonable price can truly be a lifesaver.
Being able to buy furniture, help friends move and go on day trips is terrific, and as a musician who occasionally plays out of town shows, being able to get a vehicle to get there with the gear is absolutely invaluable.
There are tonnes of convenient locations, rates are reasonable for a couple of hours or for the whole weekend. Great alternative to owning a car.
