Won the croissant debate

Rated this place:

My buddy and I faced off over our fave croissants and Brick Street won, of course. I recently converted to the little jam filled whatever they are that had just come out of the oven, oh my, YUM. They're kind of cookie shaped but I can't remember the name. Love the local bakery, love the bread, delish.

More than a good slice

Rated this place:

In this adorable stand alone building just north of Queen on Logan, sits Brick Street Breads...once you walk inside, you'll see and smell their delicious organic loaves, but also tarts and other treats (like creme brule to go and shortbread). It's hard to go wrong with organic breads and desserts...when i was told that all ingredients are local and organic, i was pleasantly surprised (and wondered why the tarts were individually baked and sold in tin foil cups) but you can be assured that the company understands the value that great ingredients equal great food with a commitment to lcoal and organic. Let the good breads rise!

Bread

Rated this place:

Ooh ooh ooh. I just found a sattelite location of my much-loved Brick Street Bakery - just north of Queen on Logan. They don't do all those wonderful sandwiches and stuff, but they have a remarkable selection of breads. Sampling is encouraged, so you won't need to buy blind. I left with a round of sweet cornbread, a grainy baguette (and a couple of chewy chippit cookies - mmmmm). I can't wait to go buy more.
