burger place, onion rings, fries

Rated this place:

The burgers are great, they really are, but I come here for the onion rings and fries. They are so tasty. They must use a cornmeal batter for those onion rings because the batter is thick and the rings are perfectly coated. The fries still have the potato skins on them and they always taste fresh. Fries are crispy on the outside and warm and soft in the inside. This place also serves up milkshakes and big soft chocolate chip cookies. It's an all around great burger joint. Avoid the lunch rush if you can – arrive before 12 noon or call your order in.

Killer burgers, milkshakes, onion rings

Rated this place:

Craft Burger

Best chocolate milkshakes in town. Onion rings, too. And burgers. Some even coin the joint as "Crack Burger" and have become Friday afternoon rituals for some offices.

From classic burgers at $5.65, cheeseburgers at $6.85 and fancy'd up gourmet-type "Signature" burgers (although they'd probably deny the "gourmet" status), Craft Burger offers a great selection for carnivores, chicken-only eaters and herbivores alike. Try the Craft Burger (with mushrooms, rosemary garlic mayo, lettuce and tomato), the Craft Spicy (with caramelized onions, spicy chipotle mayo, lettuce and tomato), the Lamb Burger (Fresh Ontario Lamb with a cilnatro-feta spread, lettuce and tomato) or the Craft Blue (with gorgonzola, avocado, lettuce, tomato and rosemary garlic mayo).

Great lunch combos including fries and a drink pack this place daily at lunch time with die-hard Craft Burger fans looking for their fix. Make sure you try the old-fashioned milkshakes made with ice cream and the onion rings, beautifully battered and fried masterpieces, worthy of being called onion rings.

Sadly, the only thing really hurting Craft Burger is that it doesn't offer any bacon, but we'll let them get away with it as long as those chocolate milkshakes keep coming creamy and delicious.

Excellent burger joint

Rated this place:

Craft Burger

It was delicious and satisfying, not too filling. I was able to taste the difference in the meat (my first time trying an organic burger) and I don't know if I can go back! All the ingredients were fresh and the fries were handcut. Try their $10 lunch combo that has a regular burger, fries and a drink.

Best Burger

Rated this place:

Burger+Fries+Shake... perfect trio! There's almost no comparison to the burgers at Jack Astors, etc. This is the only burger I'll eat in TO!

Flame broiled hamburger

Rated this place:

Craft Burger

It's real fresh meat cooked over a real fire. With really good fries to boot. Take-out recommended as there is very limited seating.

Burgers

Rated this place:

I've only sampled this place once, but I liked what I tasted. I went with a plain ol' burger with no fancy tricks. What was I thinking? Nevertheless, I enjoyed the juicy patty and handcut fries. I think next time I'll live on the edge a little more and go for the gourmet burger with avocado and cheese.
