An independant store in the Beach, with a thoughtfully-selected roster of the most imaginative and original children's books. The owner is very knowledgeable about the business of children's books and really has her ear to the ground so if you're a writer or illustrator, chat her up and you may learn something. Oh yes, and they have live rabbits :)

By far the best book store in Toronto. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgable. Heather, the owner, knows everything about children's lit. The selection is excellent, the prices are great and the atmosphere is incredibly charming. You could easily spend all day and a lot of money, so be warned!!

The loveliest independant bookstore run by a mom. It's worth the trip down to the beaches if you don't live there (she has a bunny in the back for the kids to play with!)
