Forestview is a clean, bright dim sum restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. It's huge, so you never have to wait for a table - just sit down and wait for the har gow to come to you.

Cheap, family-friendly, delicious food with great atmosphere - this place is a perfect spot for weekend brunch.

Great food; wide variety (from har-gau to cheong fun to egg tarts); push-cart (just point to a particular dish if you, like me, do not know what it is called); discounted prices during non-peak hours.

Maybe it's just the nostalgia of the hub bub and carts but this place is exactly what dimsum should be. Weekday happy hours are hard to hit but I'll make the effort to get lovely crisp shrimp in thin wrappers for $2 a dish. They serve all my favourite things (tofu wrapped pork and mushroom, octopus tentacles, beef balls, shrimp and veg fried dumplings, and awesome rice pots) with great atmosphere.
