Very disappointing!

Upon entering, I liked the decor, but I was a put off by the EXTREMELY heavy make-up worn by all the of women working there, particularly the oldest woman. She had so much foundation on, her face looked like it was made of wax. Natalie's haircut/style, outfit and jewelry gave the appearance of a 40 year old white woman who was done up to look like Rhianna for Halowe'en. I don't mean to be cruel, but I was worried-- if this is how the "experts" do their own make up, what would my eyebrows look like when they were done!? To be honest, I almost turned and walked out right then and there, and I wish I had. The design and "schtick" are a little pompous, but I didn't find it overly pretentious. It was, however, very expensive, and after I got home from my appointment I was very disappointed with the quality of the service I received. The actual threading wasn't painful at all, and the whole "Gee beauty brow" took 15 minutes or less. Once I got home, my husband looked at me a little funny, and asked me "What happened to my eyebrows" (Not a good sign!) When I said I had my brows "done" he said they look much better when I did them myself. I thought I was reasonably good at it, but that a professional could to them better. I guess I was wrong. I also noticed about 8-10 individual stray hairs that were not threaded/tweezed out. I realize 8-10 hairs doesn't seem like much to quibble over, but for $26, I expect the job to be meticulously done. Also, there were numerous little hairs that weren't brushed off my face after they had been threaded. I didn't have my brows done by Natalie, and I don't know the name of the employee who did mine because she never bothered to introduce herself. A previous review said Natalie was the expert, so maybe I would've had better luck with her, but when they charge as much as 9 TIMES more than other places, I won't be going back to try. Some girl friends and I went out the evening I had them done (I did some fixing on my own) and I discouraged them from going there. I wasn't in need of a miracle, just some tweaking and I am so disappointed.
