Although it's busy, you can snuggle up with your girl at the wine bar and the rest of the place fades away into the background. A couple of other things - Food is great, service superb & wine selection is outstanding.

Perhaps the best way to spend a cold winter evening is sitting with friends on the bar stools by the open kitchen at Jamie Kennedy’s Wine Bar. Not only is it warm and cozy when the weather is terrible, but it’s also interesting to watch the chefs at work. All the delicious food at Jamie Kennedy’s is made with local ingredients and the menu is updated frequently so there’s always a new selection each time you go back. A wine pairing is indicated for each item, taking out all the guess work and making for an interesting tasting experience. Perfection!

The meat was just falling off the bone and really flavourful. The side mushrooms were pretty awesome too. It was awesomely good - this particular version was rabbit poutine. They have great food, a rotating menu of food and paired wines. For smaller groups, sit at the kitchen bar if you can - it was fun and good for menu decision-making. ;)

Ive had Rabbit, Chorizo, and pulled pork poutines at JKWB and although not a traditional poutine, who cares, JK rules at making fries and poutine, best poutines we've ever had.

Love the Tapas style and eveything on the menu has wonderful flavor. One of our fave restaurants in town. Amazing Duck Confit, JK makes the best sauces for his dishes in town.

I literally made a point of going out one night just to have the potato fries at jamie kennedy. they are perfection. not only do they come in fabulously large portions, they are divine when paired with the lemon dill mayo and a glass of pinot noir and live jazz.
