Don't expect much
Rated this place:
It had been the evening of August 8, 2009. On this auspicious occasion, they held a Mardi Gras on Lakeshore West. As we couldn't wait for Honeymoon Suite to arrive, we decided to explore the local restaurant scene. We've heard about them. We walked way out of our way. We've tried them. Here is what happened.1) The portions were WAAAY too small. I mean, reaaaaalllly.2) Prices? I took the recommendation of the proprietor and ordered a Mousaka (which had a funny resemblance to an omelet served at the local greasy spoon for six bucks... then there was the pork souvlaki ( five tiny pieces of overcooked meat plus some underdone potatoes... forget sauce, salad, tzatziki or anything fancy like that). The total came to $28.95 (takeout) You do the math.3) I find it hard to believe that those who give the place glowing reviews are truly sincere.End of storyP.S. Did I mention that it is way better on Danforth?
