Great place to have wedding photos done

Rated this place:

Kensington Market

I have photographed a few engagement and wedding photos in the Kensington Market area and loved the vibe. I reminds me of SoHo in NYC. The right couple and right photographer can make the images shot at Kensington Market rock.

Perfect Weekend Trip

Rated this place:

Best browsing spot in the city! Full of vintage clothing shops, international foods, and niche stores. Grab a coffee at Ideal; pick up a book; and then, if you can, score a patio spot (I recommend embassy) and don't move all afternoon as you enjoy the people watching.

I can't wait until pedestrian Sundays start!

Favourite Summer Hangout Spot in Toronto

Rated this place:

Kensington Market in Toronto is one of my favourite places in the world - and is hidden away just a block away, behind the busy bustle of Chinatown. During the summer, the streets close to cars and you can walk freely with your fair-trade coffee in hand, up and down the streets to the sound of reggae pumping and the sights of people dancing in the streets, artwork of every form all over, the smells of baked goods in the air and the colourful array of fruits, vegetables being sold in street stalls - and don't forget the cheese shops. It is the home of the modern day hippie, artist, dread-locked musician and bohemian of any age. Captures my heart every time.

Market

Rated this place:

That's where I first got the Blooming Flower tea. It's a ball, and as soon as you add water to it, it blooms into a flower and it's displayed in your tea. I don't remember what it's called, but the shop is off of St. Andrew Street and Spadina. I also love Jumbo Empanadas off of Augusta and Baldwin!
