More than five, preferably. We had 10. And the dishes were tiny, so we ordered many different sorts. And the atmosphere became festive. And there were many yummies. The combination of tastes and textures is pretty incredible. All hail the slaw.

De-Lee-cious

Toronto may have lost Susur Lee, but luckily we still have Lee restaurant! Left in the supremely capable hands of chef Jason Carter, Lee’s menu offers a wonderful selection of beautifully-presented tapas. Everything is always delicious and it’s a great place to go with a group so you can order (and taste) more items. To pair with your meal, they always have a good selection of wines by the glass and a variety of other interesting drink options, like sparkling sake. Top all this off with a fun, dynamic atmosphere and an exposed brick wall that gives the restaurant a cozy loft feel. It’s no wonder that this place is always packed!

I had high expectations going to Lee. With all the grumblings of Susur's genius and temperment, I thought that there had to be something to his food. And sure enough, everything we ordered lived up to Susur's reputation. The orzo crab was my favourite.

The tasting menu was absolutely to die for. Valentines Day 2008 was an amazing 7 course dinner that I don't think will ever be topped in my books! Susur Lee is a genius - he made "scary" food taste AMAZING - sea urchin anyone? Every morsel of food was delicious and just melted in my mouth. Not only was the food fantastic, but friendly service and creative presentation really made it a night to remember.

A picture perfect display of thai tapas cuisine. Great food, music and vibe. Good locale for an intimate dining experience or hanging with friends.

Everything was perfect. They offered a 7 course vegetarian tasting menu in which each diner recieved a different dish for each course. So 14 different stunningly presented fusion dishes between a pair of diners. My first, and still favourite fine dining experience.

I love good food and Susur's has a fine reputation as one of the top best in Toronto, and perhaps the world.
