Beer, obviously.

Rated this place:

The beer is great. The food is so-so. Trio of dips was a mess, with poorly peeled carrots and unwashed celery sticks jammed into the sides of three pots... while the food itself tasted alright, the presentation in general could be improved. Cobb salad was massive. Service was pub service.

Organic lager

Rated this place:

These guys pioneered this beer for ontario, and respect to them for it. it has a beautiful flavour, definitely different, and i recommend trying it out.

Melted brie quesadilla

Mill Street Brew Pub

Found amongst the historic elements of toronto is mill street brewery, east toronto's first commercial brewery to open in more than 100 years! not only can you find their 13 tap beers (featuring organic options) they also have an astoundingly broad "pub style" menu. although it is quite a laid back atmosphere, the high ceilings, sky lights, and patio make for a lovely sunday afternoon lunch. cheers!

Bar

Rated this place:

Great selection of Toronto Beer - this bar is part of a brewery. In the summertime is the best time to go, because you can sit on the patio and truly take in the Distillery District setting/Architecture. As said, the organic beer is good (not many places serve it). The food is pub food - their wings come in some cool sauces beside the usual mild/medium/hot/honey garlic choices, which was interesting to try.
