Skating is a nice winter activity and Nathan Phillips Square provides a great atmosphere for enjoying a skate around the ice. At night is the best when the lights are lit.

It is so great to watch folks having a great time skating in the open air. Feel really great at the end of a day or evening trying to guess what each person is really like and their story.

For the first time ever, some of Toronto's top chefs will be sharing their inspired takes on what street food could be, now that the stringent health regulations for food kiosk proprietors (that have limited Tdot street food to cooked meat products) are about to loosen up August 1st. Bring on the street stall gourmet!

French fries, Ice skating rink

Fresh cut fries from the fry trucks are cheap and yummy, but watch out for the seagulls. Some of them are pretty aggressive in stealing your fries.

It's a classic place to go ice skating, with a great mix of skaters of all types and abilities. It can get crowded, but half the fun is trying not to crash into anybody!

They have been there for 100 years, and its cheap, also try the homecut fries with gravy.. Gotta love the heart attacks.
