Who knew this delicious diner had a mini oasis at the back! Perfect spot to not be found...

Love this place! It is tempting to not eat healthy there since they are known for their perogies and grilled cheese. However... their wrap with goat cheese, spinach and chicken was delicious!

Bar-hopping fuel-up

Shanghai Cowgirl is the perfect combination of bar and diner. Which makes it an ideal stop if you’re doing the Queen/King circuit and need a quick bite to eat mid-way through the evening. They serve a great traditional grilled cheese as well as other diner favourites (poutine, onion rings, BLTs, etc.) And since they serve drinks, play music and always draw an interesting crowd, a stop at Shanghai Cowgirl doesn’t interrupt the flow of your evening. On Fridays and Saturdays they are open until 4 a.m., which also makes it the perfect place for a post-bar visit. There’s a patio out back too.

An excellent place to go when you are craving FRESH in house made greasy diner food. Better quality than most as it is not all processed food and it has a nice ambiance. The poutine and chili fries are awesome! Fresh cut fries, lots of cheese curds, and homemeade chili. YUM YUM!!

Steak breaded and fried up like it was fried chicken served with mashed potatoes and broccoli. What more can you say ;)

They have a few different topping choices and make a fantastic late night snack. my fave is the one with the bacon, onion and sour cream. just like aunt babooshka used to make.
