It reminds me of Italy! Solferino's is the reason I bought a place in the St. Lawrence Market area! I only wish that they would allow two flavors in the small gelato serving. It's too hard to choose just one. My faves are Hazelnut and Cafe.

Good gelati is food of the gods. When you can't cross the Atlantic for the real Italian experience, head to Solferino's for smooth, delicious summer treats in new and old favourite flavours. Great atmosphere and location.

The lemon gelato here is just perfect - not too sour, a little bit creamy

It's made the old-fashioned way and isn't rich. I've tried some exotic fruit gelati and sorbets, including some flavours I haven't found anywhere
