Hot chocolate

Rated this place:

I have two favourite hot chocolate places. This one is like a liquid chocolate shot. It's called Mayan Hot Chocolate and it's kind of expensive for a little cup but it's worth it. It's pure chocolate, very spicy and hot. Once you taste this, you will probably revisit the event while you're daydreaming in lecture or wherever you are.

Hot chocolate to die for!

Rated this place:

Their Mayan hot chocolate shots (especially the spicy chili) are amazing! They're my weakness! I travel all the way from North York down to the Distillery to fulfill my craving! Their truffles and other goodies are fantastic as well. A little on the pricier side but perfect to indulge in or for gifts! They also have some of the best gelato I've had in the city... mmmm. Just thinking about this place makes my mouth water!

Worship Chocolate in Toronto

Rated this place:

If you want to eat, drink, shop and breathe chocolate, this is the space in Toronto for you. Choose from bars, truffles and various chocoalte dipped cookies, dried fruits and nuts. Drink their "famous" drinking chocolate. Enjoy a cup of gelato made in their Gelato Lab daily. Watch through their viewing walls as their truffles are made - stand back so you don't make it fog up with excitement! It is apparent that there is a dedication and commitment to being "green" - all disposables are compostable and some of their chocolate is organic, however, disappointingly there are many conventional additions in their artisanal goods, like corn syrup and their staff didn't seem to be able to answer questions about the ingredients. Regardless, choose something (good luck...there is a really big selection!) and once you break into the cellophane sleeve, I doubt you'll make it out of the Distillery District with anything left for "later". You may want to buy more, although your body or your wallet may not agree!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Rated this place:

A must-visit spot in the distillery district. Believe the hype: their mayan hot chocolate is as good as they say.

They definitely know their stuff - try a few of their chocolates while one of their experts walks you through the tasting notes like wines.

Kids and adults alike will love watching the chocolate factory through the huge pane window.

Chocolate Heaven

Rated this place:

This is the place to be if you love chocolate. You can come here on your best day or on your worst and leave feeling like a million bucks. Everything here is 'worth it' because you absolutely get what you pay for. I love this place. You can get lost in thought watching the process, and just 'be'. It's wonderful.
