The atmosphere is stellar and the unike coconut glasses and drinking bowls are a sweet added touch. The back patio with actual sand makes the place stand out from the rest of the over priced martini bars on college street.

Old school hip hop

SATURDAY NIGHTS. You will NEVER hear any hip hop like this anywhere else on College St, or hardly anywhere else in the city. The REAL classic stuff: Eric B&Rakim, Wu-Tang, Tribe, De La Soul, Biz Markie, KRS-One, NaS, more, more, more. You cant stump the DJ.... and NO COVER.

For some reason the tiki bar theme never gets old. It feels cozy and intimate. In the summer, the feeling of sand between your toes on the back patio transports you to a tropical beach bar. And that flaming Volcano drink is both delicious and dangerous!

The back patio at Sutra Lounge is covered in sand and it makes you feel like you should be somewhere in the tropics. You'll wait too long to get a drink--but when it comes in a coconut you really can't complain too much.
