The Victory Cafe's patio can be packed, and this new two-level patio is a bit calmer, with the same amazing Markham Street vibe. Plus, you can listen to live music!

The Central is a great place to have a good meal cheap and suck back some cold ones for $4 a bottle or $5 a pint.

I've been frequenting the Markham Street strip for many years now, and I say the Central is a welcome addition. I haven't found a place in the Annex area with a menu so focused on fresh, tasty food at a very reasonable price. I haven't had a meal yet that I wasn't completely satisfied with. There's a certain charm to the place, and their patios can't be beat. There service at times can be a little unusual, with multiple servers attending your table, but I think I'd MUCH rather the over-attentiveness than service offered on some other Markham street patios... One of my favourites for sure!
