Because it's hidden behind the condemend Guildwood Inn, has beautiful stone statues and benches, is beautifully manicured and far enough from the road that the only sounds you hear are birds and insects!

Great location for Photography or a Walk

The Guild Inn is a great place to take photos of any kind. love the grounds and the art makes for a nice backdrop. I have shot many weddings and engagement photos here and I think the magic of this location is in the fall when you can see the grounds full of colourful leaves.

I've only recently discovered this place, heard about it for years, but only the other day went by. Glad I did, I can see me visiting here more frequently. Great place for pics, both in the day and night.

Such a hidden gem in the heart of Scarborough, I live nearby, so have taken the opportunity of walking through there about a million times. The grounds are like nothing I've ever seen. For years a group of artists lived in the Inn, while they were there, any time they noticed a beautiful building slated for demolition they would send a truck and rescue part of the building, so as you walk through, you will find massive pillars, beautiful archways, statues, all in the middle of a forrest.

The garden show in the summer is really nice
