Very impressive

Rated this place:

I got a chance to visit recently for a work event and had a blast. We just had drinks so I cannot speak for the food but it was first class and the service was attentive and friendly. It’s a great venue and highly recommended if you get an invite!

Lights! Camera! Action!

Rated this place:

Seeing a movie often conjures up images of stale popcorn, sitting in uncomfortable seats that have you arm-to-arm with a stranger and climbing over people to go to the concession stand. So it’s no wonder that a lot of the time we opt to watch movies at home. But for a lovely movie experience in a beautiful environment, score an invite with a member of the Spoke Club to their private screening room. This intimate space has comfy chairs and loveseats plus a great drink and food menu. And they even have wait staff! While you’re there, check out the rest of the beautiful building and don’t forget a trip to the roof to see the view.

$15 burger and fries combo

Rated this place:

It's funny because this private club/venue would probably keel over at the thought of having "combos" on their pretentious menus, but it was honestly the best burger and fries I'd ever tasted. The fries (or pomme frites) are light, crispy and not-oily while the burger patty was made from "9 oz. House Ground 'Wellington County' Beef." It didn't need to be overwhelmed with toppings, just lettuce, tomato and onion. So, rich people aren't better than the rest of us . . . it's just their food.

Salmon tartar

Rated this place:

The Spoke Club

It certainly is different. It was salmom sashimi with creme fraiche and caviar - how fancy! It is visually very attractive. Interestingly enough, they serve it with chopped egg and capers. I would recommend it as a light lunch / appetizer.
