HMV is one of the only stores available now to buy great DVD collections.

Condo victim

Rated this place:

One of Toronto's finest public spaces. Never again will there be sunny breaks sitting outside on plastic lawn furniture eating an ethnic variety of delicious food. RIP.

Le gourmand

Rated this place:

The coffee is much better than Starbucks or any other chain. It's cheaper, too! A medium costs only $1.31 after tax. Compare that to the $2.05 at Starbucks, or the $1.98 at Second Cup. The coffee goes from de-caf up to mild, bolder, and boldest. The cookies are tremendous. They truly are the best gourmet cookie in Toronto. Big, chewy on the inside - crispy on the outside; a meal in itself. The staff are always friendly and quick (Yonge/Bloor shoppe).

Condo victim

Rated this place:

Those who venture through the grubby exterior are rewarded with the grubbiest of tasty, tasty innards! Lined with a rare selection of worldly (& delicious!) food joints, there's often surprisingly fresh music pumped into it's giant outdoor armpit. It's sad that no matter how fresh an armpit, it's still not very visible. In this case, invisible enough to fall undefended to the powers of condo-ey doom. Get your food & tattoos while you can. RIP Roy's Square. Stomped into oblivion in 2008

Tim hortons

Rated this place:

I cant survive a day without a good cup of Joe. Its not bitter like some more exp coffees. Gives me a small wake up on my way to work and I find it great to taste

Ginger

Rated this place:

It's a great little 'hole in the wall' serving cheap Thai/Vietnamese food. The atmosphere is chaotic, with a loud crowd of students from near by U of T, adult entertainer from the near by Brass Rail, tourists and Torontonians. It's a great little experience. Get there after 8 pm to hear the 'Dalyla' radio show blaring over the loud speakers!
