I have never come across a Salon Management which is so unprofessional. The staff is untrained and uninformed at Tonyc/ TOnic.I recently took an appointment for hair treatment. I took a quote on how much the treatment would cost and then fixed the appointment about 5 days before. I left my telephone no: and other details with them. TO my shock when I arrived 5 minutes early for the appointment I was informed that the cost for the treatment has been doubled.Apparently the staff whom I spoke to was the wrong one, however the receptionist herself guided me to this person. To top it all the person whom I spoke to was not around. Then I was made to wait for another 15 minutes only to be informed that the person whom I spoke to wasn't the right person..Gosh.I requested to speak to the Manager and I was informed that the person wasn't around and the Assis. Manager came up with a very unacceptable solution. They didn't have a solution to the commitment which their staff member had made to me. I left the store very disappointed. I would recommend that anyone should definitely try the other parlours in Fairview. They are much more professional. I made a mistake myself, please don't repeat it!

I can't speak on behalf of all Tonyc Salon locations, but Tonyc at Fairview Mall has to be one of the worst salon's I have ever been to. I have been to both, the salon and spa, and I was completely unsatisfied with their services. After getting my eyebrows waxed by one of the estheticians, they were misshapen, and my hair colour and cut was sloppily done. Never again will I go there nor will I recommend it to family and friends. Customer beware!

In need of an eyebrow grooming? It’s hard to find a good esthetician who can do the job right, especially since we are talking about eyebrows which is the one thing everyone will notice if it gets screwed up. Tonyc is known for its hair salon services, but at Fairview Mall they actually have a small special area for skin care needs such as eyebrow grooming. The estheticians at Tonyc can offer you waxing OR threading hair removal. For eyebrows, I recommend having them threaded since its hard to find many places in the east end that offer that service. Prices are reasonable with threading being less than $20 for both eyebrows.
