The jewl of the chain
Rated this place:
Of the big three thrift store chains in the city, my greatest pulls consistently come from this supermarket-sized Value Village. Falling right on the Bloor subway line, regular visits are easy (and necessary if you’re obsessive like me), taking little time out of your day.Bigger is better in my opinion, so long as you have the time and focus to get dirty and dig. In this case, it’s size coupled with a seeming high turnover that makes this location worth visiting on the regular. In addition to the huge selection of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, you’ll find a modest stock of vintage vinyl, which has been the source of much joy as of late. And, a sizable electronics sections consistently has some interesting items. A much recommended stop for the career deal seeker.
