Once you've done this beautiful hike you can look up at the peak of Golden Ears from just about anywhere in the Lower Mainland and say, "I climbed that!" In my estimation it would take someone in moderate-to-good shape from dawn to dusk to complete (and there can be snow, even in summer). The only scrabbling up rocks occurs at the very peak, so it's a hike suitable for people with little or no technical skills or equipment. As with any hike, just be sure you pack for emergencies.
