It's a landmark in every sense. As one of Vancouver's few iconic heritage buidlings, this 1910 built, colourful, second empire style building jumps out as a beacon of history past and culture present. Home to numerous arts and culture organisations and situated in the downtown eastside, it serves as a reminder of Vancouver's diversity and a backdrop to its continuing struggles.
