I can't count the number of concerts I've seen here, but I will try my best. Nope, can't do it. The Commodore Ballroom is situated in the heart of downtown Vancouver, amongst the hustle bustle of Granville Street. Bands new and old, all make a pitstop at the ballroom. The sound is great, the dancefloor provides ample space, and the balcony is good for the more laidback concertgoers. Home to definitely some outstanding concerts and music in the city.

Get right up close, so close you can feel the wind from the lead guitarists arm swing. Or, just lounge in the back, sipping on libations. Either way, it's an experience that will have you sayin', "that was the best concert on earth!!".

I was lucky enough to see Maceo Parker play there and I fell in love with the venue. The venue has old school charm. It is big enough to fit hundreds of people yet has a very intimate vibe. You can see the stage well from anywhere in the venue. The acoustics in the room are pretty amazing. You get the feeling that many great legends have played there. A definite treat for concert lovers.

I love the old school retro deco and the intimate size offers some up close and personal experience with the performers.
