Place to embarrass myself for the amusement of others

They host Teen Angst Night the first Tuesday of every month, a showcase of inadvertently hilarious teenage writing. We gather, under the watchful gaze of the fabulous Sarah Bynoe, to bare our wretched teenage souls and laugh at each other. Its always super funny and really embarrassing. My favorite line from my 14 year old diary is 'I am a nobody. A nobody no boy wants. Billy, Ken, Mike Jeff, James. None of them care if I live. So why should I?' Golden. And everyone elses' stuff is way better.

On the rare occasion that I am out on the town I often end up here. I also use to enjoy meeting friends for drinks here in the afternoon... There's always something good going on here but if you don't like the band, the bar is so long and narrow you can sit far enough away that you can't even hear them. I've performed on stage here several times over the last decade, too, and it's amazing for it's longevity. So many other places are gone but the Railway chugs along... Great for discovering local talent. there's something going on here 7 days a week. use it as a starting destination or a fallback plan. either way, you'll be covered if live music is what your heart's after.
