Brutopia offers a bit of everything: great house beer at decent prices, a terrace in the back, live music, even shuffleboard. Combine that with a cool and diverse clientelle and you've got one of the best bars in town.

Open mike bar

Brutopia on Crescent is a great bar with a good vibe, great beer (including their very own Rasberry brewed beer) and an open mike night each week where anyone can come and show off their talent.

Microbrewery

Rated this place:

This city is scattered with microbreweries, but few can compete with Brutopia. It has the feel of an Irish pub, but offers that little something extra. Monday is trivia night, Sunday is open mic night, and every other night features some live musical act (typically foot-stomping Irish fiddlers or classic rock cover bands). It has huge capacity, with three bars on three floors - not to mention the three terraces. My fave brew? The raspberry blonde. 1219 Crescent St.
