There are so many BYOB restaurants in the area to choose from, and despite the consistent line-ups and inability to make a reservation, L’Academie is the best around. The curry mussels with frites are a personal fave.

Everyone, from the maitre d' to the guy who makes your coquille st-jean, is in training at a fine culinary/catering/hoteliery school. I give them an A ! At least for the price, which is shockingly low.

The food is great, a nice Italian restaurant, and the decor is fitting for families and young people alike. The main draw to this restaurant is the fact that it's among the popular bring-your-own wine places in the city that actually serves delicious food along with your wine.
