Concert venue
Rated this place:
It's large enough to host some big names, like Beirut, but small enough that you can see their nose hairs if you look hard enough. Plus, I love a building with some history. This one was build in the 1930s by a leftwing Jewish group and has hosted everyone from Eleanor Roosevelt to 1940s workmen's circles. It's now owned by a Spanish cultural group. The venue doesn't limit itself to music either - if you're lucky, you can also catch a poetry slam or breakdance competition. 4848 St-Laurent.
