I'm not a vegetarian and I often do not deliberately go to vegetarian restos, but everything at Lola Rosa is amazing and filling! The food smells so good that when they open their windows to the street people literally stop in their tracks and take a look in the tiny, packed place.

Burrito

The friendly decor, good service, and large portions makes Lola Rosa a great neighborhood cafe. All vegetarian, some vegan dishes also pop up on the chalkboard menu. Their burrito is so amazing yet I have no idea what is in it (I think veggies and tofu cheese maybe?) Anyways, this is a go-to spot for dinner or lunch and is also close to student housing.

Breakfast spot

New this year - Lola Rosa finally serves breakfast. It began with a baked goods but has expanded to include all your favourites - omelettes, french toast, and best of all, breakfast burritos. Unfortunately, you won't find bacon or breakfast sausages at this veggie restaurant, but you definitely will find something different - try a banana and Earl Grey flavoured scone or a chocolate and chili muffin. Available baked goods change daily, but they're always avante-garde. 545 Milton.
