Tam-Tams is a massive communal drum-circle-gathering that happens every Sunday afternoon, weather permitting, from early May to late September, on the east slope of Mount Royal around the Sir George-Étienne Cartier monument. Hundreds and thousands of summer-fun-seekers from all walks of life flock to Tam-Tams every Sunday to dance, make music, play games, meet people - and enjoy what is arguably one of Montreal's most rock-steady mass-happenings.
