This little piggy went to market...
Rated this place:
One of Montreal’s most popular indoor/outdoor markets, Marché Atwater features some of the best seasonal and locally grown produce. Stop into Poissonnerie du Marché for lobster, assorted fish, or mussels at $5/kilo, take a browse around Les Douceurs du Marché for a variety of coffees, teas, specialty oils and vinegars, snacks, cheeses and more. Be sure to stop into Boulangerie Première Moisson for a freshly baked baguette or a loaf of delicious organic sprouted grain bread (great for sandwiches). Sample some delectable gnocci and elusive Cubita Cuban coffee at Pasta D'ici, or a bag of crunchy chocolate-covered caramel pieces, assorted chocolates, Carré des amoureux (Lovers' square) or a jar of spreadable Caramel Fleur de sel at Chocolats Geneviève Grandbois. A great way to spend an afternoon!
