Good Fast Food
Rated this place:
This place is one of Toronto's best takeout food stands. Decent 'Middle Eastern' fare, generous portions, friendly service, not too pricey (considering its prime location - and it's open late for all you partymonster snackmasters who need a quick fix when the bars let out. For those of you on a tight budget, they have fairly good falafel sandwiches and a pretty fine samosa (though instead of press-grilling them as they used to, they now use a microwave to re-heat them, which sucks; a beautiful samosa should not be microwaved; and in my opinion microwaves shouldn't be used for most foods). Which brings me to the next issue: they use a microwave to heat s&^% up. No good. I mean, really, use a f&^%ing hotplate. But, hey, this is fast food. Don't forget. And for fast food - especially the kind you get when you're drunk and desperate in the middle of the night - it's pretty f*&^ing great!
