Lower Bay Station -- CLOSED

Featured as part of TripAtlas.com's 10 best haunted attractions in Toronto: Older employees of the TTC have reported numerous times of a "Lady in Red" who haunts the old tunnels under Bay Station. The Lower Bay tunnels were only used for six months in 1966 and although the tunnels are no longer in use and closed off, night workers have reported seeing a distraught woman in a long dress walking towards them with no feet or eyes. If you're at Bay Station at night, it's also said that you can often hear the sound of a singing woman from afar. See Full Post

Toronto's abandoned TTC station

Rated this place:

Okay, so this is kind of a cheat, because you can't actually visit it, except maybe during Doors Open Toronto. But directly below Bay Station is another platform (similar to the multiple platforms at Yonge and St. George stations) which has been mostly abandoned. It's used mostly now for training and to shoot films. It used to be a big Urban Exploration destination, but the TTC installed cameras not too long ago, so trailblazing down the subway tunnels is not recommended.
