The fish & chips here are just what the name implies: it's good, not great. Though I really enjoyed the Maritime-hip feel of the place - downhome service and chic East Coast country stylings - the fish is a bit too greasy for my liking. I've also had the chowder. Also not great. Bummer. I like chowder. And to have it as a starter for fish & chips? A brilliant idea! But yeah, this experience was a letdown.
