I am a frequent diner at The Host Indian restaurant in Yorkville, on my last visit the manager mentioned the opening of their new restaurant in entertainment district. I am a die hard Indian food fan so I made a booking for the next day. The restaurant was busy and we were seated on the upper level overlooking Wellington St. A good selection of wines. The food is presented in a very stylish way. Decorated and nicely garnished. We had tandoori salad for starters, just divine, garlic scallops, it was lovely and juicy, thank god it wasn’t overcooked and the butter chicken ,it was the best I’ve ever eaten, rack of lamb with vindaloo sauce, this dish is a must, unforgettable. For desserts we had the chocolate stuffed gulab jamun and apple crispy rings, both fantastic. If you are looking for a true fine dining restaurant with an expectation for
authentic Indian flavours, this is it.I will recommend this new contemporary restaurant 100%.
