Affordable fabrics

Rated this place:

Fabricland

I like this store because they have a wide selection of fabric that is inexpensive. Some of the other fabric stores listed on this site have fabric going for as much as $100 or more per yard. If you are looking to buy fabric to make clothing or quilts in the $3-12/yard or metre range this is your place to go. If you are looking for home decor fabric go to Designer Fabrics Outlet (1360 Queen Street West Toronto). They have a better selection of fabric in the $10-20 per yard range than Fabricland.

Sew Crazy ...

Rated this place:

If you are a seamstress, quilter or crafter, you are probably familiar with Fabricland. If I'm planning on sewing something for the babies of friends or looking to sew something for a seasonal holiday (Christmas, Hallowe'en), this is where I will pick up my fabric. they have a great selection of patterns suitable for babies and fun fabrics for toddlers and kids. You can find Thomas the Train, Strawberry Shortcake, and Cars. They also have a membership card which provides a further discount on fabrics for members.
