A Family Getaway in the the Big City

I grew up within walking distance of this park, so I spent a lot of time exploring its many wonders as a kid. The park features walking and biking trails and a huge strip of beach. If you walk to the western-most extreme of the park, you can hike into the Rattray Marsh, a gorgeous conservation area. The park features picnic areas, comfort stations, playground equipment, and a splash pad. It's a popular place for group picnics. (You need a permit to reserve space for more than 25 people.
