This is where you should go!
Rated this place:
What an amazing hair salon! I went there today for the first time and am extremely pleased with everything. I was first greeted and introduced to my colourist. They have something called the Colour Bar, where they serve treats and delicious coffee drinks! I had a mocha latte. So, I went in with a disastrous blonde 'do (orange gold on top, green yellow on the ends that was done the night before at a salon @ Peel. I was so upset and hopeless since I'm just visiting Montreal. I usually go to an Aveda salon downtown Toronto.
Jessica took me in and gave me her advice. I pretty much told her to work her magic and she DID!
I have a beautiful baby blonde without brass, orange, or yellow. It didn't take long to do, either. She put a treatment in to repair all the damage that was done the night before.
Her blowdry technique was the BEST. She was so gentle with my hair. She knows how to use a round brush. Just amazing.
They aren't pushy with selling products either. But she told me what is best for my hair and how/when to use them.
Price-wise, it's very good. For the whole experience, it's a deal! Through my experience (10 years of hair colouring) it has been the best salon i've ever been to. It's very rare that you get someone who listens AND understands your hair needs and wants. They were so knowledgeable and friendly. The environment is fresh and hip. I lovvvve love love the colour bar... I recommend this place to anyone who wants a good hair experience. If you're new to Montreal and don't know where to go, this is it. I'm just sad that I have to go back to Toronto! But I'll be back. This place is easily 5 stars.
