A unique, boutique-like experience you won't get anywhere else in the city. The salon's decor is ultra charming, and the staff is very attentive. They're always making sure you're comfortable and offer cappuccino, specialty drinks and treats so you can sit back and relax while they take care of the rest. The owner, and colourist, Oskar is excellent and a true artist. He always talks to the clients first to get a sense of what they want and then explains what he's going to do. I love my colour every time because he’s so good at finding just the right shade. Ethan the hairstylist is also really good, so I suggest you try them both. The shampoos and hair products also smell amazing!

I have been going to Oskar for longer then I can remember!He is a truly genuine, reliable and talented person and haircolourist. And the salon is just an extension of what an amazing person he is. Its beautifully decorated and you feel right at home there. The staff are there for you and strive to make your experience one you'll remember and keep coming back for! I always love the blonde hairlights Oskar gives me and in fact, travel to Toronto just to have them done! This was my first haircut with Ethan and I was impressed. He listens to what you want and has a refreshingly soft spoken way about him. Did I mention any of the little perks of Oskar on Scollard? A hair colouring wouldn't be complete without a relaxing shoulder massage from Oskar, and a creamy cappucino and brownie from Tanya (his wife). If you want to feel pampered and right at home in a salon (without any pretentiousness) then this is the place for you. Check it out!

Perfect hair colour!

As a brunette, I've had some bad highlights in the past. Lots of colourists don't really know what to do to enhance brown hair. Oskar is the complete opposite! He makes hair look very natural and will really listen to what the client is looking for. I love my colour! I wouldn't let anyone else touch my hair! The salon is also beautiful, a great experience overall.

I had a great overall experience. Not only did I LOVE my haircut(from Ethan), but I had a drink and a homemade treat in my hands as soon as I walked in the door. The salon is super cute and cozy; lots of unique details. Give this place a try!

it wasn't just a hair cut - it was an experience. Oskar is bring the service back to hair styling and making it a true art form. if you're looking for this place there is a quick map on his website - www.oskaronscollard.com. I have been seeing Oskar for my colour for years at the salon he previously worked at but he just opened his own place in Yorkville so I went to check him out there. As usual he gave me AMAZING highlights which were exactly what I wanted! I also tried Ethan who is the stylist working with him and I love love love my cut! The place is adorable, so cozy and so different from so many salons out there. these guys are great at what they do!
