Tired of waiting in line for decent brunch? Me too. In Little Italy, head to Il Gusto. I won't rave about how fantastic it is. It's not. It's just a comfortable place to get a greasy breakfast for under $10. The classic breakfast of two eggs, toast, home fries and sausage or bacon is only $6. For the same price, you can get grilled cheese and home fries. In the summer, there's a very nice side patio. The food is nothing to write home about, but when you want some grease without the fuss of waiting in line, Il Gusto will do.

Give this place a chance and you will likely be back. It's a little off the strip, closer to Ossington. I agree with the other reviewer- can't beat the fixed price menu they have going on right now during the week (closed Monday). Friendly wait staff, no rush.

This is a casual restaurant for people with fine dining tastes. I enjoyed an excellent meal here was some friends, and I really liked that the waitress didn't rush us, even when all the tables were full. After we ate everyone sat back and drank wine, just like we would if we were at home. The food was delicious -- classic Italian pasta dishes, risotto, meats and pizza. It was also an amazing deal because they have a prix fixe dinner available right now where you get a large salad, pasta entree and dessert for $15. I had the creme brulee and it was excellent.
