Great service. Food selection was very little during lunch time. I had the basic Sho-yu ramen. It wasn't very filing, but it was still quite tasty. Was slightly disappointed, maybe because my friend hyped up the place.Wasn't as good as Ajjisan Ramen, in my opinion.

Better in North York

I had been a couple times to the North York Kenzo, and loved it. Tried the downtown location and wasn't quite the same experience. Couple issues:- Used to be able to get a tonkatsu + ramen combo. Not here :( - My friend and I were seated at a bar that looks straight into the kitchen. Not the nicest of seating options. - For drinks, I asked just for tea, and was given a cup of hot water with a some cheap green-tea teabag in it. And was charged extra for it. What the? Forget ramen, I've never had this happen in any asian restaurant, anywhere!The ramen itself was pretty good, noodles seemed different though... felt kind of thin. I was hoping with the new location they might increase their offering, but its still pretty basic. Worth checking out for a first time try, or maybe if they added some new items to the menu.
