This salon is very trendy and chic, but it does not have that cold feeling like other salons. It’s very warm, friendly and relaxing.....you feel like you’re at home. The people are super friendly and nice everything time you are welcome with a warm smile. The stylist are amazing they actually listen to you and accommodate what you want not what they want. They are very honest and open with you and actually care to make you feel and look good. The best part is you see a little family there which is nice; they all help each other out. This salon is number one in my books try it out you will fall in love.

Salon Francesco offers a relaxing, bright and comfortable environment for meeting your hairstyling needs. Both Francesco and Cathy Cabral are seasoned professionals who regularly update their skills to ensure that clients are treated to the best in haircare and the most up to date trends and styles. Both also utilize a consultative approach to ensure that customer's needs are being met. I left with a style that suited both my personality and my lifestyle.

I know everyone says they never write reviews but I really never do, until now. After experiencing the amazing reaction I got with my new hairstyle and colour, compliments of Cathy Cabral from Salon Francesco it's now worth the drive to 648 Sheppard Avenue East, I live in Ajax. As every woman/man knows finding a stylist that really gets you and the way you want to present yourself is so important. I've recently gone back to school to become a Paralegal and desperately needed a new look, this was not a task I wanted to leave to just anyone. Cathy Cabral listened to what I wanted and translated my every wish into the hair of my dreams. From the moment I stepped into Salon Francesco I knew I was in capable hands. Everything from their organic products, relaxing ambience, and down to earth staff, made me declare my loyalty for life. All I can say is don't wait a second longer or risk disappointment book an appointment at "Salon Francesco" with Cathy Cabral and experience the best.

Great new hair salon in Bayview/Sheppard area

I never write reviews—but after my long search for a great local stylist, I wanted to share my experience. I was looking for a hair salon closer to home near Bayview and Sheppard in North Toronto. Having always been a “downtown girl”, I didn’t want a suburban mom hair style—but hip salons are in short supply north of Eglinton. Most of the salons in malls suffer from a lack of natural light, which makes doing accurate colour a much trickier job. And, the assembly line or cookie cutter format of most local salons was unappealing to me. So, having let my hair get to a terrible state while trying to source a good place nearby, I took a chance and made a last minute appointment with “Salon Francesco”, a new salon that opened up at 648 Sheppard Avenue East (1 block east of the Bayview Village mall). What a find. Francesco, who has been in the business a long time but just opened up this salon, did both my colour and cut. I really liked that they used organic Goldwell products on my hair—and that all the water in the salon goes through a purification process. Not only did the colour job get rid of some nasty highlights I had, but the final colour was bang on. And the hair style is wonderful--my husband said it was his favourite ever. Most of my recent stylists have defaulted to straightening my wavy hair. Francesco actually styled it, so it looked like something out of a photo shoot. I can also see the cut itself is great, because when I washed it myself it is still working for me. The staff at the salon are nice too—really down to earth and friendly. Which makes it the best of both worlds—a fashionable, personalized hair cut that you’d find downtown, but without the attitude or added travel time.
