With several hot properties in New York, L.A. and Chicago, expectations were high for this newest Thompson outpost - the only one north of the border. And when Thompson Toronto finally opened its doors this past June, the city's movers and shakers surely made a beeline for the hotel's gorgeous rooftop lounge, complete with glowing pool and spectacular views of the city. For on-site dining, guests have the option of dining at the upscale Italian eatery, Scarpetta, or modern diner, The Counter (open 24hrs).
