TIFF has a new home base

Three years after the initial ground breaking ceremony at the corner of King and John, the new home of TIFF has finally arrived. The three-storey TIFF Bell Lightbox boasts 5 luxe cinemas, a learning centre for budding talents and 2 (count 'em...2!) restaurants courtesy of the culinary geniuses from Oliver + Bonacini. Consider the bar for the traditional dinner+movie date night raised. Opening just in time for the 35th Toronto International Film Festival (official launch Sept. 12/2010), the programming will continue throughout the year - great news for lovers of cinema across the city.
