They don't honour their warranty policy
Rated this place:
I bought a $450 Marin fixed gear hybrid bike here and after only 4 months of casual summer riding the freewheel cassette stopped engaging (ie the chain moved but the wheel didn't). Base on their advertised warranty policy http://store.curbside.on.ca/index.php?main_page=warranty I assumed that this would be fixed free of charge. However, when I brought it in I was shocked when told that this component was not covered as it is susceptible to "wear and tear" and that I should expect to have to replace this on a yearly basis. I am no bike pro, but I would expect an off the shelf bike like this to last at least of couple of years of trouble free riding. The store manager told me they only really cover things like the "frame" under warranty. He seemed kind of wishy washy about the policy and almost seemed to be making it up on the spot.As most of their bikes are pretty high quality I imagine that most customers would probably never have a problem in the first year, but if you do, don't expect to get anything fixed under warranty.Great bikes, but poor service when it counts.
