Had heard about this place but it was wilder than I thought. Food was good but the place is out of control. By 10:00 the waiters were drunk( and worse...) and service went downhill. Everyone is yelling at each other and the kitchen. Some very sketchy characters... One in particular was waisted. Dont go if you want quiet conversation

never go there! they treat you like sh... waiters drunk walking all over the place, ignoring you! i had a halibut, and it had toooo much pepper! uneatable!! i had to ask for a new one (without pepper this time) and they brought it 20 minutes later with pepper! again!! are you kidding me???

I love everything about this place, from the ambience (cozy and eclectic with cool art) to the appetizers (LOBSTER MAKI BALLS!!! enough said), amongst many other delights. The food is so yummy, in fact, that we all forgot to pay attention to our cocktails (as you can imagine, this only happens when the food is THAT good). Wasabi potato cakes - crisp on the outside, mashed potato on the inside, infused with wasabi goodness. Green beans and asparagus with a little something extra. Octopus ceviche was awesome. And a great dirty martini to boot (once I got around to drinking it). Can't wait to go back.

Have been to this place two times. I had the duck the first time around with a side of the brussel sprouts. This was fantastic. Had the lobster ball maki and crab cakes for an appetizer. scumptuous! The second time had something not that memorable, but highly recommend checking out this restaurant. Excellent atmosphere...chill and down to earth staff with NO hipster attitude. Lookin' forward to going back again. Make sure you call in advance to reserve. Excellent night out! Have some cash in your pocket. I'd give the first visit a 5 star...the second a 4.

I mean, hot damn. This is actually favourite fusion 2, cause Kultura is ultra good and I went there first. Tomi-Kro. Well, the space is hep, the food is divine and I had a nice little mnahattan to boot (curiously smoky - it reminded me of sipping on a rec room). Fois Gras creme brulee? Yea. That's all i need to say.

Well i'm not sure you can get lobster maki balls in many places in Toronto - but if you can - I guarantee they're nothing like what Tomi serves up.

They have a great selection of really great tapas - try the lobster maki roll. The place is loud - but worth it.

WOW! Went for dinner last night and it blew me away. The tapas on the menu is amazing - you have to try the lobster makie ball.... A real treat - great vibe but not for those who like a quiter ambience - it is loud and fun!

Their menu is out of this world....it's a good thing they have tapas because it's impossible to choose ONE thing from their menu!
