brunchers beware.
Rated this place:
gayley's is at the foot of my street. I love going there for the peaceful, relaxing morning brunch. Quiet, slow-paced and decent food, though a touch on the pricey side. it's a fave during cold, rainy weather, but be careful. As soon as the weather gets nice; as soon as that first sunny warm break pierces through the clouds of winter, Gayley's is converted to a full blown, sticky floored daycare with double buggy strollers blocking the doors and screaming uncontrollable babies and children wall-to-wall. I don't know why the new parents love this place so much. it's tight, crammed, and not really that affordable. If you're hungover or just want a peaceful breakfast, just make sure you head somewhere where the yuppie baby back-seat bicycles aren't.
