It's been around forever doing their thing and doing it well. Do yourself a favour if you go and don't get the basic burger - pay a little more for the Banquet or steak on a bun.

I've recently joined the Golden Star cult, and for good reason - this place rules! The atmosphere is very familial and there's no messing around with the food...the burgers are enormous and juicy, and the toppings are very fresh - note: the fried onions are hidden from the rest of the veggies but ask for them, apparently they're a welcomed addition to your burger.

It's perfection burger-fied

Golden Star in Thornhill is always worth a visit for their homemade all-star burgers. It has been open for more than 40 years, in an atmosphere that’s suspended in time.

Grape drink

Sure their burgers are good and the French Fries are golden brown but the real show stopper here is the grape drink....not grape pop and I am pretty sure there is no juice in there so we just call it Grape Drink!
