Like stepping into Hong Kong
Rated this place:
Walk into Goldstone and it's as if you've walked into a typical Hong Kong style cafe or eatery.
Serving customers from dawn 'til 4am, Goldstone is a frequented spot for students studying late at night and the post-clubbing crowd. The food is cheap, the portions are huge and it's great Chinese food!
Almost anything is good at Goldstone - though here are some tried and true dishes. The baked pork chop on rice or spaghetti is a classic Hong Kong dish, done best when drunk with a cold milk tea. They also make some of the best congee in Chinatown, not too soupy and super tasty. Try the preserved egg and shredded pork congee with the long dough fritters for another true Chinese dining experience. The curry beef dish is also great for a late-night snack! The BBQ meats aren't too shabby, although the noodle soups are average.
